The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine in connection with the Ratification of the Second Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters

The bill (Reg. No.8467) was submitted by the President of Ukraine and defined of high priority to be scrutinized unscheduled.

The primary goal of the bill is to implement the provisions of the Second Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters. The bill arranges the conditions for effective cooperation between the courts and law-enforcement agencies in crime investigation.
